Wm. Lane celebrated his 59th birthday. Laura Louise McClellan brought a cake with three candles. A program featured Mrs. Martha Ashwell, Mary Brown, Leaton Day, and Laura Louise McClellan. Mrs. Jones and her class attended. she has led the class for thirteen years. Mrs. McClellan received a fancy apron from Mrs. Lawson Brown.

Brown's Wonder Church Re Dedication Celebrates Debt Free Edifice
Brown's Wonder Christian church was remodeled at about 10000 dollars and re dedicated debt free. Two services were led by Rev W P Kibbey with Rev J F Burnett of Dayton Ohio preaching on responsibilities and the country church. A noon dinner fed about three hundred as crowds praised the modern rural edifice. The Rev W P Kibby has served six years as pastor and remains beloved by the congregation.

Large corn yield from treated soil at Purdue experiment
In Jennings county a Purdue demonstration plot produced 81.3 bushels per acre the state’s highest yield from any university station. The rotation was corn wheat and clover with 3 tons limestone 5 tons manure and 200 pounds fertilizer per acre. Over 50 farmers attended.
