A Wichita Falls salesman demonstrated a revolutionary sprigger and harvester for bermuda roots on the Tobe Wingard place south of Fitzhugh. Jury Awards Damages To Ada Woman In Police Case
A district court jury awarded Mrs. Lillie Stegall 502 damages in her suit against three Ada police officers for false arrest and personal injuries. The jury, after a late Monday session, gave 1 for actual arm and drag injuries and 500 exemplary damages, with the rest for station incidents. Stegall, 607 North Bluff, sought 27 793 in damages alleging arrest without cause on November 19, 1951 and mistreatment. The case was before District Judge John Boyce McKeel.
