Pontotoc County Free Fair closes with 3000 exhibits
The 1958 Pontotoc County Free Fair wrapped up Wednesday after a strong show of 3000 exhibits from about 700 exhibitors. Crops, horticulture, hogs, quarterhorse stalls, and poultry led the entries, with 4-H concession stands and special breakfasts boosting attendance and funds for local clubs. Local exhibitors, including Ross FFA, performed well in judging contests and plan to move on to the Oklahoma City State Fair.
