By The Associated Press Oklahoma reports 1951 traffic deaths at 369, up 41 from a year ago. Four deaths today and two last night were added by highway patrol. Ponca City resident Taylor Emerson Smith, 43, died in hospital from injuries after a two car collision on U S 60. The other driver, Robert8 of Fairfax, hospitalized with noncritical injuries. James Macre Alexander, 8, of Marietta, Okla., died in Gainesville, Texas hospital from injuries received Sept. 1 on U S 77 near his home. George Andrew Sheton, 74, of Drumright, injured Aug. 9 on State Highway 33 west of Macnford, died Aug. 16. Horace Ferguson, 21, Camp Chaffee, Ark., killed when his car on U S 644 mile south of Leonard overturned. Jack Clagna, 21, Camp Chaffee, hospitalized with undetermined injuries. Mrs E W Dalrymple and Mrs R E Mendenhall, both of Okmulgee, killed in a car-truck crash on U S 75 south of Cal ver. Dalrymple’s husband injured. Burnett Floyd E, 22, Tulsa, drove the truck involved on wet pavement.

Lightning strikes blaze roff barn in rainstorm rescue
A bolt of lightning sparked a fire at the Marion Holley place just south of Roff early Wednesday afternoon. The hay stored atop the barn burned, corn ruined by heat and roof collapse.
