Garvin County farmer earns top honor in 1971
Harry Miller of Lindsay, a Garvin County farmer and stockman, was named the Oklahoma Farmer-Rancher of the Year for 1971 in a ceremony at the State Fair. He received a trophy and an all-expenses paid trip with his wife to the International Livestock Exposition, presented by WKY Radio and Television. Miller farms 330 acres on Washita River bottomland near Lindsay and runs a substantial cattle operation with alfalfa and broom corn.
