Rockaway Puts Through Brutal Nor’easter On Atlantic Run
Coast Guard cutter Rockaway battled a fierce nor’easter during a 30 day weather mission in the Atlantic. The 311 foot vessel hosts four Weather Bureau observers a Public Health Service physician and a Coast Guard photographer, with four stations Brave Coca Delta Echo guiding ships and planes and ready to aid in distress.
