Extension Group To Assist In National TV Drivers Testing
The Pontotoc County Extension Homemakers Group will assist with a National Drivers Test airing Tuesday May 28 on CBS. The 1967 test, developed from NBC’s course, presents winter driving, mountain driving, school buses and distractions. Viewers compare their scores to a national sample. The program aims to promote safe driving amid rising motor vehicle deaths and costs. 5,000 copies of the test are distributed locally through named coordinators.
