Formosan student Song Bae Lin and Indian Tufail Ahmad visited Vandis vocational agriculture department this week to learn classroom techniques from Oklahoma State University alumni Clem Stone and Pat Gallup. They observed high school cattle judging demos and praised American participation and teaching style, planning to apply these ideas back home. Ahmad, 27, will teach in Calcutta area high schools and pursue advanced degrees. Lin, a Formosan educator, hopes to enrich Formosa agriculture education with new methods.
