The public school fund cannot cover seven months of term and the school will close March 20. Parents urged to keep children until grades are completed for a promotion card next year. Mr W C uyatt of Columbus Missouri identified a deceased negro as the wanted man in the August 1901 white lady murder case. A J Mosman disinterred and embalmed the corpse at a cost of 60 to 75 dollars, but the body matched only in some marks and the hands and feet were too small, making the embalming a financial loss.
