Old War Buddies Reunite After 48 Years in Stonewall
Sid Marshall of Frisco met his World War I buddy Melvin Washer of Dumas in Camp Greenleaf Georgia only to be told by a local resident that Marshall had died. Washer traced him to Stonewall where the two connected at last and recalled a cherished fiddle Washer bought for their unit. The reunion marked 48 years since discharge from Camp Pike Arkansas on July 19 1919.

Oklahoma City Couple Injured in Head-On Collision
An Oklahoma City couple, Mr and Mrs Edward Strohfield, were listed in fair condition at Valley View Hospital after a head-on collision 12 miles west of Ada. A Stratford man Ernest Cavener drove the pickup, turning onto a private drive from SH 13. he is also listed in fair condition. The Strohfields were transferred to an Oklahoma City hospital Wednesday night.
