Fire kills fifty at Hampton Clothing Company factory
In Binghampton N Y a four story Hampton Clothing Company building burned this afternoon. About 125 workers were inside. fifty dead and many injured with a dozen more believed fatally hurt. Rescue efforts continued through the night as bodies were recovered and the ruins searched.
