Judge S Heard, father of N T Heard tax assessor of Pontotoc county, died Monday in St Louis at St Luke's hospital from heart disease. He was 67, a Confederate veteran, lawyer, former legislator and circuit judge, later living in Ada with his son. He is survived by a widow and six children including N T Heard of Ada and Miss Catherine Heard of St Louis.
