Three men appeared before District Judge Tal Crawford and entered pleas of guilty. Tommy Saunders and Clarence Owens, charged with receiving stolen property, received suspended sentences of two years each in the state reformatory at Granite. Bernard Lee, charged with second degree attempted burglary, was sentenced to one year in the reformatory at Granite. Lee was caught while drilling holes in the J C Penney roof two weeks earlier.
