Mrs. Lucy Harjo a Pon totoc county pioneer died at her Allen home after a long life among local residents and Native Americans. Born near Black Rock about 81 years ago to John Wade of Mississippi she lived most of her life in Pontotoc county including Ada. Funeral services were held at the Osk Avenue Baptist church in Ada with burial in Allen.
