Sid Faugh In Fatal Accident
Sid Faust a former Stratford automobile dealer was killed instantly Wednesday night when his car crashed into the rear of Ray Franklin’s vehicle about two miles west of Haldenville. Faugh apparently slept at the wheel. his neck was broken. Franklin, a HOLCG worker from Shawnee, was injured. Faugh ran the Ford agency in Stratford about six years ago. his home was in Wewoka at the time.

Ex-convict questioned in Mattson kidnapping case confronts family
In Seattle an ex convict held for ten hours over the Mattson kidnapping will be confronted by the victim’s brother and sister. A police official said the suspect, James G McDonald alias A Past 32, matches witness descriptions but offered conflicting stories. FBI notes describe a thirty one to thirty two year old European looking man with a blunt chin and slanted eyes. The Mattson boy’s body was found near Everett January 14.

Defense lawyers said they would file a motion for a new trial for Rev W C Fala who was convicted yesterday of murdering Loren O Dell, a Fisk Missouri farmer. Flames Fatal To Aged Man In Ada Fire
A Monday Ada blaze killed H. J. Owen and badly burned 79 year old R. B. Faunt Le Roy as night clothes caught fire from a stove. Owen, once county weigher, died in a burning frame residence at 13 East Third. Faunt Le Roy, longtime Ada resident and former railroad conductor, died later from burns.
