Bids on the second construction unit of the Sandy Creek flood control project were opened with Gouker Bulldozer Service of Meeker the apparent low bidder at 76 672 91. The Sandy Conservancy District chair says the bid is about 2000 above the engineer’s estimate but likely to be accepted. The work covers sites 29 30 and 31 with start planned around January 10.
