Alexander Hamilton Mercer 72 longtime Hart resident died Sunday December 3. Born in Little Rock Ark in 1884 he moved to Texas at 18, married Corsa Adams in 1908, lived in Oklahoma from 1914 then in this community since 1931. Survived by wife and three sons A Hurt Oklahoma City Marvin Ey Clinton and James Paul Ft. Worth.

Ada youths and county 4-H achievers were celebrated at the Aldridge Hotel as the Jaycee 4-H program marked its second year. Eight county 4-Hers received $25 savings bonds for their work. Wanda Young led the girls high school division with 218 projects and a strong 4-H record, while Nancy Elliott was runner up. Ahloso Women Fix Up New Clubhouse at Lula House
Ahloso Home Demonstration club created a 14 by 24 foot clubhouse at Lula, paying 175 dollars plus a 50 dollar moving bill. They borrowed the 175, plan to raise funds to pay the note, and will remodel the two room building for quilting and upholstering, with eventual white siding. Local women and some help from men plan ongoing improvements.

Ants Save Frisco Man From Death

With no time to flee, he leaped or was forced toward danger, fighting for survival as the vehicle closed in.
