A Pontotoc County native, A R Hunter, has amassed over three thousand artifacts in five years. His collection includes arrowheads, spear tips, knives, grinding stones, tomahawks, ornaments, and a bone awl. He notes burial sites and rich areas along Sandy Creek Muddy Boggy and Sincere Creek.
