Hung Jury in Perjury Case Against Anthony Pate
The jury in Anthony Pate's perjury case against Mack Lee stood 9 to 3 for conviction but did not reach a verdict. Pate testified that Lee was at his home February 23 and produced a land purchase contract sworn to be made there, yet records show Lee traveled to Oklahoma City on February 22 with J. W. Bolen and Judge Furman and returned the evening of February 23.
