I Harris is moving into new quarters and has remodeled the interior. He plans a new front and promises up to date improvements. He assures customers orders will be filled without delay as arrangements are completed.
White and yellow seed oats along with amber and orange cane were noted at the W. H. Gray mill near Kat depot.
The Democrat notes an invitation to the wedding of Dr. J. D. Thompson and Miss Grace McGee at Dodd City Texas on the 9th of this month. Both were popular locals in the town. May their journey be pleasant.
Ada booster and Democratic mover J W Davis enters the race for state senator. The notice highlights his past support and public service to Ada and the Democratic party, with a fuller candidate profile promised later.
T. D. McKeown resigned from the county executive committee and Otis Weaver was appointed in his place. Sam McClure also resigned from the state committee and Weaver was offered that seat, which he accepted while declining the county post. Both resignations were due to a belief that candidates should not be committee members.

The Ada Norma girls beat Shawnee 18 to 10 in a spirited basketball game held Saturday. Ada showed superior training and outmatched Shawnee at every point before a large home crowd, with Fannie McKinney Irene Ward Lola Hooks leading the Ada lineup and Corine Hardin Willie Faust among subs.
L. T. Walters and his wife celebrate the arrival of a baby boy, increasing the family. The notice notes the newborn brings joy to the household.
The council awarded the paving contract to Shelby Downard Co of Ardmore at 1.80 per yard totaling 83263.59 after bids from Metropolitan Construction Co Kansas City Parker-Washington Co St Louis and E C Yarnette Oklahoma City. D'Yarnette protests claiming unfair treatment and hires Stone Maxey to seek an injunction against the mayor and council.
Tuesday marked a record day as the county treasurer's office processed total payments of 16645 dollars and 95 cents. About half of the sum came from the O C to cover back taxes.
