Marshall Historic Home Tour links to film and railroad legacy
The 55th annual Marshall Historic Home Tour on Sept 8-9 features 19 sites including eight private homes and seven museums tied to Marshall’s 19th century railroad hub past and to a major motion picture. Highlights include the 1873 Italianate North Madison Street home restored by Jeff Hamilton, the Honolulu House focal point, several 19th century Italianates, and the 1850 First Baptist Church. Special events include an arts fair and Civil War activities. Tickets cover both days with free downtown parking and shuttles.
