Hemmingsen Pharmacy marks 75 years in Marshall downtown

Hemmingsen Pharmacy at 132 W. Michigan Ave remains a longtime Marshall mainstay now Hemmingsen’s Good Neighbor Pharmacy. Chet Hemmingsen founded Rexall 75 years ago, with Donna Dillman and Ron later joining as owners celebrating a decade. Staff includes Jennifer Parks since 2009. The store offers basics of a neighborhood drug store plus gifts, candles, Beanie Boos, Timex watches, and Kodak Printmaker Center on site. Sirius the golden retriever greets customers daily. Hours are 8 am to 7 pm weekdays and 8 am to 3 pm Saturdays.
