East End Studio and Gallery Builds for All Art Lovers
East End Studio and Gallery at 143 W Michigan began in 2006 and now hosts nearly 60 local artists. It purchased Wagner's Block in 2012, renovating two levels, adding a classroom, framing shop, and exhibit space. A raffle on Sept 11 supports classroom expansion birth to adult students, with guided Home Tour weekend tours and artist teachers. The A3 after school apprenticeship runs sessions for middle and high schoolers, with projects tied to Borg Warner. East End aims to renovate Wagner's Block to create an incubator for artists and a cultural hub in southern Michigan.
