MPS Board rejects Shearman School sale offer
Marshall Public Schools Board rejected a $100 offer for Shearman School after a tense October 24 meeting. Trustees debated fair market value, demolition costs, and neighborhood impact, with some urging acceptance to avoid spending up to $200,000 on demolition. A new listing at $170,000 could be pursued.
