Olivet board names Judd first female district superintendent
On June 11 the Olivet Community Schools board interviewed Brooke Judd at an open meeting and offered her the position. She accepted a two year contract on June 30. Judd, a 1982 Olivet High School graduate with degrees in math and computer science, has led district data management and technology and will focus on teaching and learning while guiding staff with an open door policy. Critics worry about a recall campaign led by Beth Page, who argues the board is misusing votes, while Judd urges proceeding through elections to retain qualified leaders for the district’s students.
