Old Tyme Music band uplifts nursing home elders
A Battle Creek group named Olde Tyme Music brings live music to nursing homes and assisted living residences. Led by three hammered dulcimer players, Merrilynn Gay and others, the 10 member ensemble uses ear-based play to boost mood and engagement, described as therapy by participants and supporters alike.
