Marshall EAA Chapter hosts Young Eagles rally
Marshall EAA Chapter 1076 held a Young Eagles Rally at Brooks Field Airport on Oct. 16 with 26 children from the FLASH Homeschool group. Pilots from Marshall and Mason including Jim Blankenship, Mike Walraven, Joe Newman, Patrick Salow, and Tom Schroeder gave demo flights in Zenith 701s and Cessnas 172 and 182. The event promoted aviation safety and education, with coordinators registering participants and handling postflight records. The chapter plans more rallies starting spring 2011 as part of EAA outreach to youth.
