Spiritual Day Minuteman Award Given to Rev Ron Hackworth
On May 19 the late Rev Ron Hackworth was posthumously honored with the Spiritual Day Minuteman Award at the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast as part of Michigan Week. His wife Nora accepted, with son James delivering a tribute about living every day to define greatness and serving others. A post ceremony lunch at VFW Hall 800 E Michigan Ave followed at noon, with Fire-Keepers Casino providing food and Marshall VFW Post 4073 hosting.
