Kelseys Law bans teen cell use under GDL in Michigan
Beginning March 28 teen drivers with Level 1 or Level 2 licenses may not use a cell phone while driving under Kelseys Law. The public campaign urges compliance with civil fines up to 100 dollars and possible costs. Exemptions include emergencies and hands free devices. The law honors Kelsey Raffaele, 17, from Sault Ste. Marie killed in a 2010 crash.
