Marshall City Council approves steps for new law center and fire department complex
On March 18 the Marshall City Council unanimously approved starting the Marshall Regional Law Enforcement Center and Fire Department City Hall renovation process. A resolution to enter a $5.5 million contract with the Marshall Building Authority was approved before bonding. The mayor stressed this is a first step and the project expenditures are not yet authorized. A 45 day referendum period allows petitioning 10 percent of voters if the issue is not placed on the ballot.
