Drug store robbery suspects in custody Albion
At 9 a.m. on March 12 two male suspects and one female suspect robbed Parks Drug Store in Albion. Officers pursued a fleeing vehicle at high speeds across I-94 and M-66 before a PIT maneuver ended the chase between I-94 and Beckley Road. All three suspects were taken into custody and lodged at Calhoun County Jail. No serious injuries reported. Det. Nicole Wygant or Silent Observer can provide information.

Boy, 2, Hit by Car In Battle Creek Driveway
A 2-year-old boy was struck by a car in the Fremont Street area as he played in a neighbor’s yard. The driver, a 22-year-old Battle Creek man, fled the scene but was later arrested on charges including failing to report an injury crash and driving on a suspended license. The child was stabilized at Bronson Battle Creek and transported to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. condition not updated.
