Armed officer in schools sparks Albion concern at rally
About a dozen Albion residents protested the presence of an armed School Resource Officer at Marshall Middle School on March 7. Superintendent Randy Davis defended the SRO saying the district will keep officers in the buildings with proper equipment. Davis noted ongoing protocol reviews with Public Safety Director Jim Schwartz.
