Annual Outdoor Safety Day At B E Henry Building
The Calhoun County Sheriff's Department sponsored the Annual Outdoor Safety Day at the B E Henry Building for about 1,200 attendees. Deputy Jeff Edwards noted this is roughly the 13th year, teaching third through fifth graders about water safety, skeet shooting, midget car racing, scuba, tree stands, hunting safety, bass fishing, rock carving, and more. Fredonia Grange provided food including hot dogs and desserts. Prizes included fishing poles, tackle boxes, archery targets, duck decoys, duck calls, chain saw gear, and a turkey fryer with a full bass fishing prize on Goguac Lake this summer.

Irrigation Meeting for Farmers in Albion March 21
