Girl Scouts mark 100th anniversary across Michigan events

The Girl Scouts of the USA celebrate 100 years with statewide Fab 5 events in Michigan Heart of Michigan Council. Centennial festivities begin March 10 at the Capitol in Lansing with a historic exhibit, parade, and ribbon cutting, then culminate with fireworks at Cooley Stadium if weather allows. Local plans include Kalamazoo events March 10 and various museum displays in Lansing, Marshall, Battle Creek, and library displays through spring 2013.
