On June 22 Marshall downtown was packed as the Blues Fest filled the day with a full lineup. Headliner Chris Canas led a night of live blues along with The Sax Maniacs and Who Dat? Blues Band among others.
Michigan Court of Appeals on June 18 affirmed a lower court ruling dismissing a lawsuit by the Committee for Marshall- Not the Megasite against the city of Marshall and MAEDA over Ordinance 2023-08. The ordinance rezoned 741 acres for Blue Oval Battery Park Michigan to back the Ford EV plant project in Marshall.
