July Fourth Celebration Lights Up Marshall Park
The July Fourth event revives early 1900s gazebo music with The Star Spangled Banner and Armed Forces Salute. Conductor Dave Conklin returns, Tim Lake hosts, and volunteers prepare 1000 chicken and 100 hot dog meals for about 80 helpers. Eaton Corporation sponsors the 2011 celebration with tickets, barbecue menus, free ice cream, and online ordering options through the Marshall Area Chamber.
