Albion and Marshall Highs Could Merge to Save Budgets
Marshall Public Schools Director of Business Operations Scott Blankinship reported to the Marshall Exchange Club on the Albion High School and Marshall High School merger idea. He noted about 1,000 students in schools of choice span both districts, with roughly 300 from Marshall and another 300 from other districts, while Albion draws 700 out of district students. A merged district could restore learning opportunities and activities reduced by student loss and budget cuts.
