Marshall council expands LDFA to boost development
The Marshall City Council approved changes to the Local Development Finance Authority plan and expanded the LDFA district. The measures aim to spend funds within the district on improvements including signage, Brooks Field upgrades, training, a business loan program, and transportation infrastructure to support growth. The expansion adds the Quigley property and areas around the Marshall Moonraker. The plan projects $350,000 in general fund revenues by 2028 with 65 percent of tax captures kept by LDFA and 35 percent shared with other agencies.
