Oaklawn Hospital to Celebrate National Nurse Anesthetists Week
Oaklawn Hospital marks National Nurse Anesthetists Week January 12 to 28. Eight CRNAs administered anesthesia to 6,700 patients last year with a ninth joining in February. CRNAs, medically directed yet independent, provide anesthesia in labor, surgeries, and outpatient procedures including soon to begin Transesophageal Echocardiograms, as the hospital expands surgical space from 400 to 625 square feet.
