Marshall City Council proclaims Harry Thompson Day
At a Jan 7 meeting Marshall officials honored longtime resident Harry Thompson with a proclamation naming Jan 12 as Harry Thompson Day. The 106 year old, born in Toledo and living in Marshall since infancy, was praised for a life as a pharmacist, church member, donor, and family man. The mayor and council celebrated Thompson, who will mark his birthday with family at Marshall Nursing and Rehabilitation.
