Local shops scout merchandise at Atlanta and Chicago shows
Three area businesses recently attended gift shows in Atlanta and Chicago to stock their stores. Patti Cornwell of Cornwell's Turkeyville USA with El yle Bibbings Amy Mayne and Vicki Hankey toured three 12 floor buildings over four days. They plan budgets by theme and seek usefully unique items for a tourist clientele, including Michigan foods like apple butters.
