Marshall district approves bond bids for district schools

At the January 27 meeting the Marshall Public Schools Board authorized bond projects for Gordon Elementary Hughes Elementary and Marshall High School with spring work set to begin in March including additions to Gordon Elementary and upgrades to playgrounds parking lots and bus loops. The high school will see work on the northeast student parking lot and several add-ons or alternates were approved due to lower costs.

New Marshall High School assistant principal enters second semester

Nick Dent, 38, begins his second semester as Marshall High School’s new assistant principal after 15 years as a Spanish teacher at the school. He grew up in Dearborn and was inspired by his long-time educator father in Northville. Dent says he feels more comfortable each day.
