Reuben Eating Contest Tops Fundraising Record at Fountain Clinic
The annual Pastrami Joe's Reuben-Eating Contest on Jefferson Street raised $16,183.25 for The Fountain Clinic, a record fueled by kids, celebrity eaters, and supporters. Kathy Miller earned the top prize with over $3,000, while Kathleen Oerther raised $2,721.76 and Coop Bicknell also contributed on a hot summer afternoon.
