The Marshall City Council faces shortfalls of 373940 in 2012 13 and 714174 in 2013 14 and asks residents to attend a Jan 17 public hearing to weigh budget options. Economic director Mike Hindenach says manufacturing won’t wait for recovery, noting industrial gains and local challenges ahead of budget talks.
