The Marshall Community Foundation Youth Advisory Council YACkers thank a Secret Santa who completed an Adopt-a-Family purchase at Family Fare on Saturday December 17. The donor offered to cover the remaining balance after overhearing the need. The Secret Santa remains anonymous save for a photo and heartfelt card from the YACKers.

The Marshall Civic Players announce auditions for Meredith Willson's The Music Man on January 4 and 5 at the Franke Center for the Arts in Marshall located at 214 E. Mansion St. Callbacks, if needed, on January 6. About 30 roles span ages 8 to 18 and adults. auditioners should prepare 16 to 32 bars and may read from the script with dance movement reviewed.
