Athol Hazen Shapes Calhoun County Fair History
Athol Hazen has long shaped the Calhoun County Fair through Fredonia Grange service since 1961. He helped fund and build the Peck Kitchen and permanent food booth, led tree planting, and guided the Merchants Building improvements. His efforts with CCAIS as first president and longtime treasurer kept fair operations running, with a portrait planned to honor him at the booth. Rich Hazen now runs the booth and funds honors for Athol and others in the community.
