Woman charged after home invasion in Eckford Township
Angela Rutter, 41, of Britton Michigan, allegedly smashed a weed whacker through a garage door window, entered the home, and poured gasoline on a vehicle before leaving. She was found with the vehicle title, lodged on home invasion and attempted arson charges, arraigned with $10,000 bond.

17 year old arrested for stealing alcohol at golf course
A 17 year old was arrested for breaking and entering Turtle Creek Golf Course in Burlington Two on August 2. The owner reported an alarm at 10 35 a m and officers used a police canine to track the suspect who had stolen alcohol from the bar.

Albion man dies in Marshall crash on Aug 1
An 82 year old Albion man died after his van hit a traffic island and a sign near East Michigan Avenue and West Drive in Marshall at 10 53 am. He was taken to Oak Lawn Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A 17 year old Union City youth was arrested for larceny from a building and possession of marijuana.
