County and MAEDA Board Set Budgets and By Lays
The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance adopts bylaws for 17 board seats and new standing committees. Officers for 2015 16 are Sue Damion chair Mike Beck vice chair Kelli Scott treasurer and Ryan Traver secretary. MAEDA finances show 723 000 revenue 659 000 expenditures with a 64 000 net increase, while chamber activities will be integrated into MAEDA funding and governance after dissolution. County cites unchanged Calhoun judges and outlines budget pressures for 2016 including tax revenue shifts and staff vacancies. Public Health Board backs raising tobacco age to 21 and plans Family Planning services funded by state support starting in October.
