SAS honors detectives and staff for advocacy against abuse
The ceremony saluted Det. Bryan Silverman for his dedication to sexual assault cases and leadership in a SAS team. The CAC Case Review Team members from multiple agencies were praised for collaboration. The Outstanding Community Advocate Award went to Battle Creek Central teacher Joshua Harter for integrating prevention into ninth grade English.
