Opening the Earth The Potato King film aims at Peru
Marshall High School 2002 graduate Aaron Ebner seeks funding via Kickstarter to produce a short documentary about Julio Haneco, the Potato King of Peru, who cultivates 320 potato varieties at high altitude. The project highlights biodiversity, indigenous resilience, and a push to reframe poverty through cultural strengths. Donations run through April 14.
